Abstract
The application of encoding and decoding technology, transmission technology, and AI technology in video surveillance systems has resulted in a large amount of video information leakage. As a key location in the power industry, substations still have some security vulnerabilities and data leakage issues. It is urgent to upgrade the encryption technology of video surveillance data. This article proposes a research on substation video encryption technology based on the exponential Columbus code word algorithm to address this issue. The advantages of the exponential Columbus code word algorithm encryption lie in its high-level security, strong attack resistance, efficiency, and flexibility, It can fully ensure the security of video data information in the substation.
