Abstract
People suffering from spinal cord injury (SCI) undergo homeostatic dysfunctions, such as temperature regulation, excretion disorders, impaired walking, and other perceptual disorders. Owing to these disabilities, SCI patients are usually concerned about maintaining their physical condition. Therefore, in this study, we aimed at reducing anxiety in SCI patients by conducting a subject measurement experiment based on environmental and internal factors to help maintain their health and investigate their contribution to physical condition assessments and prediction of physical condition assessments based on various physiological indicators. The experimental results were classified using the Spearman’s rank correlation coefficients, and by conducting a statistical hypothesis test. Based on the results of these experiments, we provide promising items or concerns to consider for future experiments of longer durations.
