Abstract
This contribution introduces a new configurable Radio-Frequency (RF) Front-End (FE) in CMOS 40nm developed in the ESCAPE project framework for the new STMicroelectronics GNSS receiver supporting concurrent processing of signals from at least two constellations on two different frequency bands (e.g. GPS and Galileo on L1/E1 and L5/E5a). It will be also highlighted the impact of Functional Safety ASIL support in its design and some of the implemented solutions at RF FE level. This RF FE has been designed both as stand-alone RF FE and as embedded RF FE in the new GNSS receiver in a slightly modified version.
