Abstract
This work presents results for a 27 W compact fluorescent lamp. Simulation results, using PSPICE, include a model for the lamp and a self-excited inverter as lamp driver. An experimental circuit was enveloped for a 27 W quad type lamp that belongs to a new group of lamps named compact fluorescent lamps or minifluorescent lamps.
