Abstract
The article reports on the tour of Acting Under Secretary for Energy and Assistant Secretary for Policy & International Affairs David Sandalow at two Iowa-based manufacturing firms for the wind energy sector. It says that the tour at ACCIONA Windpower's plant and Keystone Electrical Manufacturing Co. is part of the push of the U.S. President Barack Obama government to extend the Production Tax Credit (PTC). Meanwhile, it says that the wind industry of Iowa supports indirect and direct jobs.
