Abstract
The article looks at the accomplishments of the Moldovan Armed Forces. The Armed Forces is tasked with protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic. The cooperation between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the country began in 1994. Other governmental institutions will participate in the implementation of security and defence policy reforms under the Individual Partnership Action Plan Moldova-NATO.
