Abstract
The article discusses a study on apple pomace-based diets for White Leghorn pullets. It notes that the study was aimed at examining the effect of incorporating various levels of apple pomace on production performance of layer type chicken. According to the findings, replacing maize by apple pomace to the extent of 10% without enzyme supplementation and 15% with enzyme supplementation has no adverse effect on age at sexual maturity and production of eggs.
