The article focuses on the approach of Arkin Tilt Architects to restore the original Victorian charm of a 100-year-old Victorian farmhouse in Healdsburg, California. Arkin Tilt Architects applied an insulation to the exterior and installed windows to improve the efficiency. Moreover, increased attic insulation with added with ventilated roof which features an air space that allows large volumes of air to flow through to keep the spaces below cool and comfortable.
