Abstract
Discusses the growth of the epitaxial waveguide structures of the BaTiO3 thin films on MgO through the use of the pulsed laser deposition. Characterization of the structural properties of the samples; Importance of the waveguides in terms of the integrated optics; How the out-of-plane refractive index was measured.
