Abstract
To evaluate the role of third trimester cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) in predicting abnormal perinatal outcomes in fetuses growing over the 10 SP th sp centile. This was a retrospective study of 1,190 non-small fetuses attending the fetal medicine unit for a routine third trimester ultrasound at 35-41 weeks' gestation. The CPR <5 SP th sp centile detection rate was 21.5% for a false positive rate of 10%, however a combined model including maternal age, parity, estimated fetal weight and CPR had a sensitivity of 46.4%.
