Abstract
This article discusses the efficacy and safety of the cryoballoon 180 ablation system for the treatment of dysplastic Barrett's esophagus (BE). The study, conducted in three Dutch Barrett expert centers, enrolled patients with ablation naïve BE. The results showed that the CBAS 180 system was effective in treating dysplastic BE, with a technical success rate of 92% and a median BE regression of 95%. The procedure was generally well tolerated, with low post-procedural pain and dysphagia scores. However, further research is needed to validate these outcomes in a larger patient cohort.
