Abstract
The article discusses the study which investigates the functional variants of the BANK1 variants gene in rheumatoid arthritis. The study explored the genotype for BANK1 single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) with the use of TqMan 5 allele discrimination assay. Thus, the study suggests that BANK1 SNP and haplotypes contribute to RA susceptibility with a low risk.
