Abstract
The article focuses on the existence of binary stars and its potentiality to support planets. Topics include the discovery Kepler-16b, the first transisting circumbinary planet, the eclipsing pattern of two stars on Earth, and the exoplanet hunting spacecraft launched by space scientist William Borucki and his collaborators at the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
