Abstract
This article presents a study that explores the use of noninvasive biomarkers for diagnosing and monitoring pediatric eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), a chronic allergic disorder affecting the esophagus. The study identifies interleukin (IL)-17, galectin (GAL)-10, and transforming growth factor (TGF)-β as potential biomarkers for EoE. However, more research is required to validate these biomarkers and incorporate them into clinical practice. The study was conducted ethically on children and adolescents. Overall, this research suggests that these biomarkers could enhance the diagnosis and management of EoE, but further investigation is necessary. [Extracted from the article]
