Abstract
The author reflects on the possible harmful impact of placebo controlled trial particularly to children. The author states that double blinding in pediatric randomized controlled trial (RCT) is used to reduce the chance of biases that may influence the outcome of the study. The author says that should consider the risk posed to children being included in their study as well as the potential benefit it may give them.
