Abstract
This paper introduces a new qualitative methodology, Mutual Interviewing (MI), as a research tool. As a hybrid between semistructured interviews and authoethnographies, this new methodology poses many benefits to understanding and critiquing shared experiences, cultural phenomena, and human behavior. As collaborative exploration into how research conversations may be impacted, this is a methodology that can be utilized across fields explored by interactive interviewing processes.
