Abstract
The author considers the two-two correspondence in the com-\break plex projective line defined by the nonhomogeneous equation\break $(ax^2+2bx+c)y^2+2(bx^2+2dx+e)y+(cx^2+2ex+f)= 0$. With the use of the reduced equations of the correspondences, he proves a sufficient condition for the product of two of them to commute.
