This research is done with a view and aim to evaluate the qualitative level and identify corrigendum of ‘Journal of Convention Sciences’, which is an academic journal of the Academy of Korea Convention Sciences Society, by analyzing 98 pieces of the journal from year 2013~2015. The results are listed below.First, journals relevant to tourism accommodation business and exhibition was most published, having a mark of 44 pieces out of 98 in total, which is accounted for as 50% in terms of type of business. Second, journals related to marketing strategy was most released by marking 31 pieces which makes it 31.6% of the total. Third, almost 81% of the journals was based on quantitative analysis but on the other hand, It is shown that the qualitative study is accounted for 20%. Finally, it is more importantly concluded that the qualitative improvement for English abstract should be preceded. For further studies relatively, the next step attempts to have a comparative analysis of SSCI academic journals in the field of tourism, in contemplation in order for the ‘’ Journal of Convention Sciences to be able to be in the international level and be a source of reputable academic journals.
