Abstract
Využití moderních zobrazovacích metod v předoperačním stagingu, plánování léčby a dispenzarizaci onkologických pacientek přispívá k vysoké úspěšnosti léčby gynekologických zhoubných onemocnění. Narůstající komplexnost, ale zároveň komplikovanost diagnostiky je výzvou pro radiology, gynekology i onkology, aby se naučili využívat dané techniky způsobem efektivním jak z hlediska klinického, tak ekonomického. Práce podává přehled o možnostech zobrazovacích technik se zaměřením na CT (počítačová tomografie) a MR (magnetická rezonance), představuje jejich přednosti a nevýhody s důrazem na aspekt jejich racionálního využití v onkogynekologii. V mnoha případech indikace více různých zobrazovacích metod již nijak neovlivní léčebný management a vede ke zbytečné zátěži pacienta, časovému prodlení v léčbě i nadbytečným finančním výdajům.
The using modern imaging methods in preoperative staging, therapeutic management and dispenzarization of oncological patients contribute to high success of treatment of gynaecological malignant tumours. The cumulative complexity but also complicity of diagnostics is a challenge for radiologist, gynaecologist and oncologist to learn to use these techniques in effective way from both clinical and economical points of view. This project is the review of possibilities of imaging modalities focused on CT (computed tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). We present their advantages and disadvantages with the emphasis on their rational utilization in oncogynaecology. In many cases engaging several imaging modalities does not affect therapeutic method used and results in unnecessary burden for the patient, time delay for the onset of therapy and additional expenses.
