Abstract
This paper is trying to ethical reflection for personnel of business. And this paper is trying to analysis of three ethical problem of business' personnel, that is, hiring, remuneration, and firing. People make up corporations, and how an corporation impinges on the lives of its own members is a morally important matter. One obvious, but nonetheless very important, way in which business's conduct affects the welfare and rights of its employees and potential employees is through its personnel policies and procedures. Very important ethical problem of this personnel policies result from how an corporation handles the hiring, promoting, paying, and firing of the people who work for it. First, the central ethical issue in hiring is ethically choosing who should be hired. Solution of this problem is principle of ethical selection: the business should hire that candidate who is expected to contribute most to its purpose of maximizing long-term owner value. Second, the central ethical issue in remunerating is about allocating rewards of employees. As the fundamental principle of ethical allocation, distributive justice governs all the rewards that the business has to offer its staff. Third, the important central ethical problem in firing relate to how the owner imposes the dismiss. In order to create ethical method of dismiss or discharge, the principles of just cause and due process must operate.
