Abstract
This paper presents a novel multistatic radar re-ferred to as phaseless FMCW multistatic radar (PFMR) system. Unlike the classical multistatic and the passive multistatic radar, PFMR doesn't require any direct line-of-sight (LOS) signal and synchronization among transmitter and multiple receivers. The unknown time-offset resulting due to the unsynchronized transmitter and multiple receivers is overcome by using intensity of the measurements resulting in loss of phase. A Wirtinger Flow based approach is described for detection and localization of targets with the proposed PFMR system. Simulation results for multiple scenarios are presented to demonstrate the capability of PFMR in the absence of synchronization and the direct LOS signal.
