Abstract
Based on the requirements such as moving in a small area, a snake robot assembled by the several motor modules, is able to complete various kinds of motions with particular connection of motors. The structure of a snake robot enables it to move smoothly with high stability and reliability in a small area. Different locomotion is studied and executed by using the proposed snake robot to verify its feasibility in a pipe.
