Abstract
Every 18 to 24 months, the nuclear power plant will shut down for outage to refuel and conduct many routine repair and maintenance for the reactor, which is the Overhaul. In the past, the overhaul management software are normally based on 2D charts and figures, such as the P3 / P6 system. This paper innovatively gives a 4D proposal for the overhaul management, which combines the 3D scene, Pert Chart and Gantt Chart all together. The aim is to better assist, guide and optimize the overhaul process. And a use-case is applied to verify if the 4D overhaul management platform can really meet the requirements of the overhaul activity. The result shows that the 4D overhaul management platform offers intuitive visual effects to the overhaul staff and can pre-train them before the real overhaul, which can improve the overhaul preparation efficiency. Finally future work is given in the last part.
