Abstract
Recently, an emerging memristor has aroused people's research enthusiasm in many fields due to its unique properties and potential applications. However, because of its inaccessibility, the memristor emulator has been used as a good substitute to study the features and applications of it. A new shaping function circuit is designed here and used in the current-controlled memristor model. Mathematical analysis and simulation results of the constructed model show that the new emulator has a larger hysteresis loop than the prior, and moreover it has a distinct pinched hysteresis loop until 15kHz. Comparison with the existed emulators highlights the advantages of the new one.
