Abstract
This paper investigates the sliding mode control of chaos problem in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) via Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy method approach. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, sliding mode control strategy, and T-S fuzzy method, a sliding mode controller is proposed to stabilize the PMSM systems. An illustrative example is provided to verify the validity of the results developed in this paper.
