Abstract
Abstract We aimed to investigate whether adherence to dietary antioxidant quality score (DAQS) is associated with metabolic syndrome (MetS) among the Tehranian population. This cross‐sectional study was conducted on 270 apparently healthy adults aged between 18 and 45 years old who lived in Tehran, Iran, between February 2017 and December 2018. Participants were categorized based on tertile cut‐off points of DAQs. To examine the association between DAQS and MetS and its components, we used multivariable logistic regression analysis in different models.
