Abstract
•Radiomics as a quantitative image biomarker may predict EGFR–TKI treatment outcomes in patients with EGFR-mutant non-small-cell lung cancer and brain metastasis.•For patients with advanced-stage NSCLC and brain metastasis, metastatic brain tumor radiomics have more predictive power than primary lung tumor radiomics and may enhance the predictive power of clinical variables and prognostic indices for predicting PFS after TKI treatment.•A deep learning-based CoxCC model for risk stratification and treatment decision-making can improve the clinical outcomes of patients with NSCLC and brain metastases.
