Abstract
The article discusses Vincent Bach's newly discovered correspondence which revolved around Bach's interest in bass trombone. Vincent Bach was a cornet soloist who toured in Russia and Great Britain. After arriving in New York in September 1914, he set up a small shop and started making mouthpieces. He became successful in manufacturing brass instruments. Three letters to Martin Albert Carl Peter have survived.
