Abstract
The article focuses on the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and lifting programme. Researchers have found that when short, intense, sprinting-type exercise sessions are added to weight training, the negative impact on strength and muscular development disappeared. Fast twitch fibres can develop more power and are prone to growth than slow.
