Abstract
The article presents a study which explores the high-relief colossal statue of an oriental barbarian found by British troops surrounding the French-occupied city of Alexandria, Egypt in 1881. It recounts that the statue has been located outside the Royal Brass Foundry in Woodrich Arsenal on the Thames in East London. It recounts that the sculpture is a high-relief figure of an oriental barbarian standing against backing slab, his left hand on his hip, and his right arm rose. Several letters regarding the research done on the barbarian statue are also presented.
