Abstract
The article presents the case study of 44-year-old man with venovenous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) associated acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Topics include mechanical ventilation settings were changed to pressure control with inspiratory pressure of 10 cm H2O above positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP); and assessment of respiratory mechanics can be erroneous when AOP is not measured.
