Abstract
The article offers information on the warning issued by the U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) on the use of fluoroquinolone antibiotics for the treatment of acute sinusitis, acute bronchitis, and uncomplicated cystitis due to its side effects to the patients. Topics include the potential to cause various central nervous system (CNS) disorders, the association of fluoroquinolone on the acquiring peripheral neuropathy, and the potential to develop tendinitis.
