Abstract
The article explored the role of street tree density and preferences relative to pedestrian safety perceptions. It provides information on the role of street tree plantings in transportation planning campaigns, especially in mid-sized, post-industrial cities. It discusses about the National Association of City Transportation Officials (U.S.) incorporates green infrastructure into street reconstruction guidelines.
