Abstract
The article discusses the opinion of Jane Parsons of the Furniture Ombudsman on the impact of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 on guarantees in the furniture industry in Great Britain. Topics covered include the definition of guarantee under the Act, provisions that no retailer is legally obliged to offer a specific guarantee, stating of guarantee in plain and intelligible language and the rights of consumers under the Act.
