Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the changes in demographics and risk factors in patients with HIV at the Samuel and Esther Chester Immunology Center of Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2007. It indicates the use of several testing procedures which include Cochrane-Mantel-Haenszel (CMH) chi-square and Fisher Exact. The study reveals that the clinic population during the period has not changed with respect to gender, race or age. It also cites the differences in the modes of transmission of the disease.
