Abstract
This paper presents a study of the, ball mill prepared, annealed Fe-Al nanostructures. A series of Fe1-x Alx (0.4 ≤ x ≤ 0.6) ball milled powders were prepared and then annealed for 24 hrs at 600°C in a nonreactive environment. The samples were characterized using X-ray Diffraction (XRD) for structural and Vibrating Sample Magnetometry (VSM) for magnetic properties. It can be seen that the process of mechanical alloying gets completed and different alloy phases are formed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
