The article discusses issues surrounding the collapse of the Champlain Towers South residential condominium building in Surfside, Florida. Topics include the appointment of a task force to make recommendations to prevent a similar tragedy, areas of inquiry identified by the task force that in its view establish the basis for future physical and financial stability of condominium buildings and associations, and proposed Senate Bill 4-D:Building Safety during the 2022 third special session.
