Abstract
The article presents the discussion on school-to-prison pipeline annually showing thousands of Maryland students into the criminal justice system. Topics include practice of suspending or expelling students for nonviolent disruptions and the statewide requirement of school policing; and several hundred Maryland students experiencing arresting or referral to law enforcement for the crime of disturbing school.
