Abstract
By that time the patient had fever (38.2°C) and described a local creeping sensation as well as localized lancinating pain around inflammatory nodules. Dear Editor, A 41-year-old Caucasian male patient was hospitalized showing multiple furunkuloid inflamed nodules on his trunk and arms. When it comes to Myiasis, the patients often show single nodules which in an early stage of infestation can easily be misdiagnosed as an inflamed atheroma or as a folliculitis.
