Abstract
The article discusses a sensitive and rapid method based on liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS-MS) method for measuring olopatadine concentration in human plasma. The study used protein precipitation to carry out sample preparations, followed by liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) with ethyl acetate/dichloromethane. It states that the method has sensitivity with a lower limit of quantification (LLOQ) of 0.2 ng/mL and was used for the pharmacokinetic studies of olopatadine.
