Abstract
The article offers tips for school leaders on involving teachers in restorative school discipline. It cites the impact of excluding the teacher from the practice such as damage to the teacher-student relationship and possible punitive approach to the student's behavior. The benefit of encouraging teachers to use impromptu conversations to ensure teacher involvement in the process for a non-serious violation is noted. Also suggested is creating dialogue with teachers about discipline.
