Abstract
The article presents a study of 2020 Perseverance rover's PIXL x-ray fluorescence, x-ray diffraction and multispectral imaging results on Mars to examine the presence or absence of coherent crystalline domains in various minerals. Topics discussed include the capabilities of the PIXL instrument, the formations of the Jezero crater and the Séítah, findings on mineral endmember compositions, and analysis of crystallinity.
