Abstract
Urinary tract infection (UTI) in immunologically compromised persons is threatening millions of people's life worldwide. The synthetic drugs are slowly not effective and also causing more side effects. Bio-derived agents are known to be less toxic and effective in treating UTI. In this study, chloroform extract of Syzygium aqueum was subjected for antimicrobial, antioxidant, antidiabetic and antiproliferative activities. Due to the presence of numerous bioactive compounds, it showed excellent bioactivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
