Various services are prepared for you, from how to access the library to how to borrow materials and how to use the reading room.
So, are you ready to use the library?

1. Check the location of the PNU library

PNU library is operated with a total of 6 buildings on 3 campuses. Library locations by campus are as follows

2. Install the PNU Library app

You can access the library, search for materials, borrow materials, etc. through the library app.
Search for “부산대학교 도서관” on the App Store or Playstore and install the app below!
(ID and password are the same as the One Stop Service)

3. Borrow, Return, Borrow extension

You can Borrow materials after recognizing your ID card or library card or mobile ID card in the automatic borrow machine located on each floor in the library, and you can check the details of the loan on the PNU library website-[My Library]. If you have difficulty using the automatic borrow machine, ask for help from the librarian at the desk on each floor and you will receive friendly guidance!

Materials can be Returned conveniently at the return desk in front of each library entrance or by using the automatic return machine located at the entrance of each library building. We operate a return service of other branches, that allows you to return materials to any library regardless of the library you borrowed from, so you can return them to a convenient location.

Borrow extension can be extended only once. If you click [Extend] on the right side of [My Library]-[Borrowed Books] on the PNU library website, the loan period will be extended from the date of application for extension. However, extensions cannot be made for books that have passed the scheduled return date, have overdue books, or are under reservation.

4. Using Reading Room

The library reading room is the most visited space during school life. PNU Library has various types of reading rooms, including a 24-hour reading room(Saebyeokbyeoldang), a Learning Commons that can be freely used, and laptop reading rooms. For use of the reading room, please check the following.

① Search for “PNU Place” app on the App Store or Google Play Store and install it.

② Log in with your ID (student number) and password and assign your seat.

 * In the case of the Saebyeokbeol Library, the seat assignment is confirmed only after passing through the entrance gate within 15 minutesof booking the reading seat.
