Abstract
[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of LPGA players' average strokes by applying the data envelopment model. [Method] For LPGA golf players, the data of the top 100 players in scoring average was selected as research data. Five performance indicators was selected as input variables, and the scoring average was selected as an output variable. The data envelopment model was applied and analyzed, and the EnPAS 1.0 program was used. [Result] The scoring average efficiency according to the performance indicators of the LPGA Pro Tour players was overall high. Specifically, technical efficiency, pure technology efficiency, and scale efficiency was all found to be high. [Conclusion] It is a meaningful study in that it analyzes the scoring average in terms of efficiency, and it is judged that the presented results will have a positive effect on improving the performance of LPGA Professional Tour players.
