Abstract
Aiming for a practical usage of 32APSK in 4K/8K UHDTV satellite broadcasting, we have developed a digital pre-distortion technique to compensate for distortion from the satellite transponder. We develop a prototype transmitter and evaluate the performance improvement of the digital pre-distortion technique for 32APSK in experiments conducted over the 12 GHz-band satellite channel.
