Abstract
This research investigates the impact of alcohol use and various other factors on individuals' health, with a focus on teenagers enrolled in school, though the findings are applicable to broader groups. The study utilizes publicly available data to train a model that predicts students' final grades in Portuguese, using their academic performance from the first to the last year as input features. The final year grade serves as a benchmark for academic achievement, with multiple variables considered as potential influencers. By employing machine learning techniques, the study aims to accurately predict final grades, thereby providing insights into student learning outcomes. Additionally, the research extends to propose a model for predicting diabetes, leveraging both machine learning and deep learning approaches to assess alcohol consumption and diabetes risk.
