Abstract
Highlights •ZnO NRs with AZO seed layer-dependent crystallographic control were fabricated by hydrothermal process.•The energy band structure and optical and electrical properties of Ag/ZnO NRs were investigated systematically.•UV photoresponse characteristics of Ag/ZnO NRs Schottky devices was enhanced by modulation AZO seed layer.
