Abstract
Highlights •We analysed the burden of depressive disorders in Vietnam from 1990 to 2019.•Crude prevalence and DALY rates of depressive disorders increased over 30 years.•Females and people aged 10–64 years had higher burden of depressive disorders.•Major depressive disorder was the major cause of burden of depressive disorders.
