Abstract
The article discusses the need to increase and improve coordination, communication, and teamwork to tackle challenges faced by orthopaedic surgeons in providing high-quality health care. Topics discussed include include need for teaming in patient care by employing necessary motivational, communication and conflict-management skills by orthopaedic surgeons, inappropirate management structure as a reason for failure of most teams and various conflict-management strategies in health-care teaming.
